Board Biographies
Jon Chin (Board Member)
I joined Kids on Broadway after seeing
several of their fine musical performances. I have a passion for
kids and musical theatre and I am all for promoting kids self esteem
through creative channels. I also joined the Kids on Broadway Board
so that I may be the unofficial "ambassador" of upcoming musical
productions and events. I truly believe that Santa Cruz County is an
area rich with untapped natural theatrical talent and it will be my job
to get other people excited about it. Jon is a Deputy Assessor for Business Properties for the County of Santa Cruz.
Miguel Diaz (Board Member)
Owner, Diaz Hardwood Floors
David Lundberg (President)
David became devoted to KOB when his daughters Darya and Gayla got
involved eight years and 20 shows ago. “I'll never be the same. It’s
put a new perspective on my life. I cherish the community building
aspects of working together in a non-profit children's theater group.
Set construction is very fun and rewarding. I've been around for a
while and I'm not done yet. THE BEST IS YET TO COME!” Outside of KOB,
David is the owner of The Davenport Mill for over 30 years.
Nancy Main (Secretary)
Nancy Main is the mother of 3 and step mom of 6. One of her daughters and one step daughter have been in a number of KOB productions. Nancy believes that the KOB program is excellent for helping kids to learn theatre skills, community skills, self esteem and more. Her business, New Native, Inc, is located in Watsonville. Watsonville has been underserved in the kid's theatre area. Nancy is nurturing a KOB Watsonville theatre outreach program. This program will be offered to low income and interested young people of the Watsonville area.
