Adapted and directed by April Burns
Musical Director: Max Bennett Parker
Original music by Bennett Parker & Burns
Description:
High in the Southern Mountains of China along the jade green waters of the Li River A young girl named Hui liang lived with her wise old honorable grandfather.
One day the jade green waters of the Li River rose from it's banks and washed away her little villiage.
This is the story of how a brave and clever girl saved the day from the rising tide and from a cruel and greedy mandarin with her common sense and the gift of a Magic Brush.
Remember what Honorable Grandfather says,
"Leave the gold in the mountains and the pearls in the sea."
