This is a story of a princess who wanted the moon.
Princess Lenore has fallen ill from eating a surfeit of raspberry tarts.
She believes that the only thing that will make her well again is having the moon.
The Princess wants the moon for her very own and a princess is used to getting her way.
Despite a royal command from her worried father the King, neither the Lord High Chamberlain
nor the Royal Wizards nor the Royal Mathematicians with their brilliant ideas
and elaborate schemes can get the moon for her.
Only when the kind and clever Court Jester consults with the Princess herself is the problem solved.
Possible morals to the story:
1. One raspberry tart is probably enough.
2. Reach for the stars but don’t expect the moon.
3. Princesses are not as hard to please as you might think.
4. Creative solutions can be found to most problems.
Consult a Court Jester.
5. You don’t always get what you want but if you try
sometimes you get what you need tra la .
